Bob, What is Your Take on the Following NR from Glimmer?

Apollo Gold bought the Glimmer Mine (jointly owned by Glimmer and Exall) and renamed it the Black Fox property. Apollo Gold is having good success in locating additional reserves. Mine could re-open in Q4 2003 on a good feasibility.

Effective at the open on Aug. 18, 2003, in accordance with the revised TSX Venture Exchange Policy 2.5, the company will be transferred to the NEX board from Tier 2 of the TSX-V. The company was previously designated as a TSX-V inactive issuer.

As of Aug. 18, 2003, the company is subject to restrictions on share issuances and certain types of payments as set out in the NEX policies.

The trading symbol for the company will change to include a ".H" extension. There is no change in the company's name, no change in the Cusip number and no consolidation of capital. The symbol extension differentiates NEX
symbols from Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 symbols within the TSX-V market.

Effective at the opening on Aug. 18, 2003, trading will be reinstated in the securities of the company.
