A week before election hopelessly behind davis resigns and cruz becomes governator. End of recall, end of Ahhnold. Actually i heard dems and reps agree that if davis resigned that is what would happen. Thoughts? This keeps surfacing, and it won't work. It would make Bustamante the Governor until the recall. If he won the popular vote, he would stay on. Otherwise, the person with the highest vote count would become Governor.
