Can someone explain how MMs manipulate stock prices and give actual examples. I'm sick of hearing about all the manipulation that goes on to explain run ups and crashes, tight spreads and close spreads. This stock has a great chart and good fundamentals. AFter a stock crosses over the 7-8 range, it starts to appear on the radar screen of institutions. That might explain the volume. The Chairman decided to sell some shares. He doesn't know the exact day when the stock will go up or down. If the price was manipulated for his benefit, why would he have sold on 7/31. The form 144s are usually filed on the date of the sale.
