I'm thinking specifically of the economic mess. How are Californians going to pay their growing debt? What can anyone do to reverse the out of control bureaucratic habit of spending? Everyone is demanding theirs without any thought to how it might effect the rest of the state. There is a me mentality that is pervasive in California, and I think it exists as a result of social programs gone amok.
