I agree silicon valley is finally starting to improve a little but that has nothing to do with the overall jobs picture imho. Silicon Valley's largest companies like amat and Cisco cut their US workforces by 50% from peak. These positions were offshored, this process completed last year. Now business is finally showing a slight uptick and maybe 1/10th of the positions laid off in the last 3 years will be hired back MAX.

Anyway don't take my word for things just look at the next jobs report and see if we are gaining or not. 400K jobless claims is extremely bad considering we are 3 years into job losses. Since most long term unemployed don't file the actual number of jobless is much greater.
