Tell that to my friends who have been displaced by Business visa folks that is a sham. We have lost a lot of jobs my friend. It his happening everywhere. If jobs are lost, in the long run our growth will be slow. Barriers, have to come up quick and fast or make it a level playing field by floating the Rupee... You have to be in my industry to see it happen. Just last week we had a layoff. All american workers were laid off. Why to pay for the fleet of programmers coming at cheaper rates. O.K we have read about it day in and day out. But my friend we have to live with it. It will impact you directly or indirectly no matter what you do. It is a different matter if work is outsourced if there is a surplus but not when engineers are sitting at home for 1 year plus with no jobs.... Just my 2 paisa's worth. Regards, Immi
