The Reps split because the social conservatives can't stand Arnold Doesn't sound likely to me. The Reps have managed to keep both the libertarians and the religious right in the tent for some time now. The social conservatives are not going to dislike Ah-nuld enough to prevent him from becoming a Republican governor.
