Andy, AAPL is trading BELOW its fundamentals. Fundamentally this stock is cheap. Market cap on Apple at the close today is $3350 Million dollars. At $13 a few weeks ago, AAPL had a market cap of $1643 Million -- that was the time to buy perhaps.

AAPL
TTM = $7788 MM
PSR = 0.43 (price to sales ratio)

If you look at other box makers in the industry like DELL or CPQ, they have been rewarded with PSR's of 2. Even GTW is considered cheap and it trades at a PSR of around 1.5 I think. Apple trades at a low PSR of 0.43 so it has been punished for its future outlook.

Essentially, people are punishing AAPL because they think they will go out of business or vanish within a few years. Today, Microsoft's investment of $150 million is a vote of confidence that they believe Apple is a vital part of their revenue stream and they want 'em to stick around.
