Each Spring, I get a truck-load (about 13 tons) of manure from the local horse stables dumped in my side-yard. Through the summer, I spread it out over the lawns, raised beds, berms, on my property. Love the stuff. Rich and black and crumbly. Full of fat juicy worms, after it sits for a year under sun and rain and snow.
Cortez, and the other Spanish looters, they knocked down Aztec temples, and used the stones to build Catholic Cathedrals on the Native holy sites. As we treeists revive the worship of life, we need to do the same.
