Reagan will be known for Iran-Contra...

Nope. Iran-Contra was just a blip on the political radar screen. It's gone and will only be mentioned in brief whenever it is mentioned with Reagan, that is if it is mentioned at all. Reagan had fairly plausible deniability, and so the thing died where he was concerned. Clinton had a blue dress covered with ***AHEM*** his "DNA." And sure enough, in one of my younger children's books on the presidents, there is the famous picture of Bill Clinton, sitting on national T.V., admitting that he had indeed lied before a Federal Grand Jury. In that same book is a picture of Reagan, in blue jeans, wearing a cowboy hat. The corresponding article mentions how he restored America's confidence in itself and gave only a cursory mention of military spending increases, etc. The article only mentioned Iran-Contra as something that happened in his administration resulting from other operatives. Ollie North was mentioned - a few others as well. But all this was so much overshadowed by Reagan's awesome persona and positive contributions that even it seemed positive. LOL.
