its all about "the Global primacy of the USA" the Projection of Power to the rest of the World........ as recently exampled by our handeling of Afghanistans Taliban crazys.... Iraqs beligerant, unpredictibale Sadamm Hussein Baath party regime......... the real problems will come from China, with 1.3 billion people all willing to work 60 hours a week for a place to sleep and a bowl of rice they pose a manufacuring dilemma of significant consequence......as well, we the USA, continually feed into the educating and supporting the technological learning process's they are undergoing.
