Hillary in California supporting Davis… ”Former first lady and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton was in California Thursday to endorse the re-election of Gov. Gray Davis and to take direct aim at Republican contender Bill Simon's anti-abortion views. "He is pro-choice and proud of it," she said. "He has fought for and will continue to fight for women's rights and that's something that I don't think anybody can take for granted." When asked to respond to Simon's appointment of several women, including many who support abortion, to 17 task forces that consult his campaign on issues facing Californians, Davis snapped, "In my administration, women don't sit on task forces, they run departments." I wonder if it will ever occur to the dwindling numbers of die hard dems that every single platform issue, cause, and agenda has been sacrificed at the abortion alter? When bill was trashing every woman he could get his hands on and every liberal issue, they continued to support him and always with a justification of “just think of what will happen to Roe v Wade if he is removed from office.” Keep harping on it Hillary, no matter how inapplicable it is (you are an obsolete dinasour from the 60s); we need a new major party that has some platform integrity to keep the Repubs honest.
