Al, The Ponzi scheme is being perpetrated by politicians who continue to raid SS funds for purposes other than what they were intended for and who continue to spend money we don't have. In response to Bush's proposal to partially privatize Social Security, Gore said that he was concerned about being able to pay the beneficiaries (i.e. the old people) if some of the money going into SS was being diverted elsewhere. This was during one of the televised debates. In effect, he unwittingly confirmed that this was a wealth redistribution program for the elderly. Your comments reflect this very view, along with your attempts to smear conservatives as heartless thugs. Tenchusatsu
