Suppose you start a corporation, hire employees, and promise them pension. If you run your pension plan the way Social Security is run, you would be immediately arrested.

I don't care...if the typical corporation was run the way bush runs the country, you'd have to arrest him too. Not a very bad idea by the way. I just know that we can and need to fix this, it is a very worthy program, it supports many elderly people who'd have no other means of income. Come up with an alternative to a clear social need and I am all ears. Until then, all you have is sour grapes.
