Bush spends money like... well, a Democrat. But now that he's got the upper hand on tax policy, he needs to cut the federal budget and cut it deep. We'll know he's starting to get serious about the budget when he lops off the NEA and public broadcasting. From there we need serious reform of government payrolls and pensions. We need to bust the public employee unions and bust them good. Else we'll end up like France.

And until there are no forced passive EXPENSES (like RE taxes), there should be NO tax on passive income.
