Ramesh: Where did you read that IBM is standardizing on NDS? They offer it as a product, but then they sell lots of products. That doesn't mean the company is standardizing on it. That is ludicrous.

Secondly, of course TNG & TME10 are totally different products than NDS. The original poster was writing how NDS was the ONLY way to manage an enterprise. Give me a break. :)

Is NTs domain concept a pain? Yes, absolutely, but so is NDS. Network management is a pain. We know, our firm implements Tivoli. I am personally certified in Unicenter (although it was 3 years ago, and my knowledge of the product is very dated). At the time, I billed out at $800-$1,000 a day to help implement network/systems management software.

Now, luckily, I don't have to do that any more.
