A selloff in the shadow of the 10Q should not come as a shock.

The facts that 1. The new businesses acquired by UNVC appear to accretive, 2. The new Baltimore location and manufacturing facility was a one-time expense (while also FINALLY clearing up the seemingly endless syringe production problems); with this aspect of the business stabilized, there are greatly enhanced prospects for positive cash flow next FY and 3. the Chairman (Shoenfeld), President (Dalton), and some directors have purchased almost 19,000,000 shares of UNVC since January, 2002 (~15,000,000 since 09/02)...all these facts suggest the original impetus/perception for the run-up in the stock this year remains in place.

But there's no doubt that Univec's finances remain tenuous and while the potential rewards here have improved significantly over the past 12-18 months, the risks continue to be substantial.
