Bush is a loser and until you recognize WHY people don't give a sh!t about a tax cut on dividends, you will go down with the ship. If you are going to give somebody a tax cut it has to be meaningful to some major component of the population, dividends are not that and will never be that. Young investors don't want dividends and older folks are tax sheltered anyway. That leaves one group - the wealthy looking for diversification- who care about dividends. No matter how much Kudlow harps on dividends nobody seems to care. Wasting billions on a meaningless taxcut to support your idealogy seems foolish.
