I understand your position and would be happy to argue and scrap with you over our real differences. Bush aside for a second, Your position seems to be that you don't support the decision to engage Iraq at all. There are many worthy arguments on both sides that have merit. Apparently you have picked up this tangental issue as a way to "score" something by trying to make personal insults.

The least genuine argument to support your position is that I don't care about the troops who are making the honorable sacrifice that they are, but you "CARE". Or that the pentagon does not value them. Or that you are an advocate of any conditions of the military other than "hell no I wont go."

All of this judgemental psycho-analysis of what is going on in the minds of the troups is a silly way to garner support for your argument. The Pentagon (of which the troops are a part) are not what you represent any of them to be, neither am I.

It isn't a monthly pay cut that you in your heart of hearts are so concerned about. It is stopping the effort completely and as soon as possible. Just be honest.
