All do respect Mr hopkins what your Hi beta portfolio is telling you is there is serious rotation out of a good number of your chosen portfolio stocks. Looking at it I can see immediately, that its a pretty nasty mix of last cycle winners who are trying to hold a following in the face of distribution.

My high beta portfolio has two to 1 up today (16 up 8 down 1 unch). The difference being they are not last years winnners but next years. On those which were down; the cumulative volume of the 8 was so low as to be statisticly insignificant.

Its not magic its accumulation versus distribution.

In edit I should have asked whether this portfolio was constructed as a Shorts Plan to profits? Figure I better ask, I see its down 12% or so.
