Auto industry, if the Chinese gov. wants to control its development, it is fairly easy. all they needs to do is to limit the available car registration. And as a matter of fact, this had been the policy 80s till mid-90s, only changed during the last couple of years. I remember that in late 80s and early 90s, some people could easily afford a car, but not the registration plate. Once just a car registration in Shanghai cost more than the car itself.<g>
