This is absolutely way too bizarre. There's no way that Eric Hunter, with all his body guards and hiding out, would have let any family member close enough to him to beat him up. And, no family member would have been so stupid as to do it to him just before the hearing. Afterwards, maybe, but not beforehand.<g> <edit> I just noticed: "Who is crazy here?" Eric Hunter asked in a bedside interview from a Chapel Hill hotel room where he was recovering from his injuries. Aw, come on, can anybody believe this crap? It's like something scripted from "Peyton Place" or "Dallas". Who wrote Eric's lines, and who's doing the makeup? He can't even get the chronology right. He said in the interview that the harassment reached a peak in May, yet today he's conveniently bruised and battered. I think he and his lawyer are confusing commercial/ corporate/ securities litigation with a domestic relations dispute, and gearing their proof toward the latter. Somehow I don't think the SEC or a federal judge will connect Eric's bruises or being called a nut by his mother as proof of securities violations.
