And that maybe
those kids' "skills"
aren't in such high
demand as was PROJECTED?
At least for now?

Economic development ain't
always smooth, you know, at
least according to the economists
who I studied under, and the history
that supports them.

If a guy took a $50K job at the Gap,
that sounds like his supply meets their demand;
a marriage, or at least shacking up,
so to speak, economically.

I doubt their relationship will last beyond the next
economic upcycle, from your narrative.
