The last gasps of denial or the final march to the edge of the cliff? Unless circumstances intervene in the form of another horrible event which arouses the anger and stills the minds of our citizens, it appears that the swell of critical thinking will continue to build. Too bad there is no good alternative leadership waiting in the wings.

Bush's reelection hinges on the jobs reports- we got another bad one today.

NYT is running a bunch of op-ed pieces that overtly challenge Bushonomics, calling this presidents economic team the worst in 200 years. I can't see how Bush recovers from this, I believe it is gaining steam as people unemployed for years realize their jobs are gone for good and the deficit was a giveaway to the rich.
