I agree, I think the Dow and large caps are overdue for a correction. Small caps less so. Wish I had the nerve to short DELL and IBM too, but their earnings do seem to be soaring in an industry that still has great worldwide growth potential. CPQ, I'm too fond of to short.

Of the Dow stocks to short, EK was my first choice and it has turned out sweet so far. Coke is next. I can't understand sugarwater carrying a PE of 42. How much of this stuff can they sell? If KO puts get cheap, or maybe when I cash in EK . . .

As perverse as the market is, the correction will come when all the bears surrender. Maybe another October fall. These dizzying heights are asking earnings to match unrealistic expectations.
