I've heard all the arguments in favour of dictating 'official' language, and they're all together a crock .... there is nothing to gain, and a great deal to lose, in departing so far from those fine principles of liberty ..... every immigrant to the US learns what english he needs and/or wants, and his children will speak fluent english .... there is only one reason to denigrate spanish - to codify the racism against the indigenous, to have the law say it is superior to be white than to be brown ..... well screw that, and viva La Raza, who by the way have no objections to your candidate's use of danish, or of english, or of bloody martian if he chooses, la Raza lives and lets live, and strongly suggests to your candidate that he smarten t.f.u. and follow their example in this, que pueda vivir en amistad, y en paz |
