This is going to be difficult for you because it requires you to think but here's my response.

The post was absolutely on topic; it was a story about our troops. Perhaps you're looking for the "My Country, Right or Wrong" thread, or the "Support Our Troops with only False and Misleading Positive Messages and Cheerleading" thread.

Now, put on your thinking cap. I'm helping to support our troops by making you aware of a problem that exists within the government. The troops' wages are being cut. By whom? Congress and the White House are cutting the troops pay. If you'd like to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS why don't you write to your various and sundry politicos and encourage them to support our troops.

That's the point of my post.

Of course you don't.

But, tell you what. I won't post here anymore and then it will be easier for you to pretend that everything's OK in Iraq and that you SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.
