Ted, Hypocrisy is all the Reps. abandoning Arnold because he's too liberal for them. Why is that hypocrisy? It's staying true to your beliefs, because you think there are some things you shouldn't compromise on. What makes you think they aren't? Dems are caught between a rock and a hard place. Think about what the "hard place" is. It can't be electoral votes, since the Dems could easily preserve those while supporting, say, Bustamante. It can't be loyalty, or else the Dems wouldn't have abandoned Torricelli in favor of Lautenberg in NJ 2002. Here's a hint: Davis is a heavy fund-raiser for the DNP.
