The one that was "picked and acted upon" had been "picked" well before 9/11...well before 1440 as well. The invasion of Iraq is not the entire event. If it were, I would agree with the "move forward, constructively..." point of view. The neocons tried to subvert constructive diplomatic efforts with Iran to harden up both sides in order to begin justification for an invasion of Iran. The neocons exposed an undercover CIA agent who was working in the WMD arena...in order to strike back at her husband for calling them on one of their more egregious lies. The idiot neocons WANT destruction.
