My cancer update! I just got out of the hospital after my second round of chemo--a 4-day "infusion." It was very successful. The 6-inch tumor has been significantly reduced. (The first stay in the hospital to get my weight up, blood counts OK, and heart strength more powerful turned what should have been a 4- or 5-day "infusion" into a 7-day "infusion' with a total stay in the hospital of 2 weeks. It was a horror show.) The second stay has given a lot more reason for optimism. I will now undergo 4 more 3- or 4-day "infusions" each over 3-week intervals. This cancer is totally beatable.
