Actually, Hezbollah did not blow up any Marine barracks or embassy.

Regardless, the U.S. was not on a peacekeeping mission. We had armed Israel to the teeth and then gave them the green light to invade Lebanon. Then, we sent our warships to the Lebanese coast and began lobbing shells into the Lebanese villages on the mountainside.
