As the discussion was going on, I pondered if there was not a distinction to be made between a calling and a noble calling, a calling being worthwhile, not shallow and selfish, Lovely description here, of the Noble Eightfold Path, why not look to the master ... thebigview.com You have a lot of Buddha in you Karen too .......maybe lovely , maybe noble , maybe practical and detached & fair ... why not all three , four or "eight"? ;-) PS: Wherever Ms "Foxlette" goes , there she is !
