China looks for international business talent

China plans to launch a global search for talent for its state-owned enterprises.

The official Xinhua newsagency says six state-owned companies have been selected for the initial trial.

The practice will then spread to other state-owned firms.

The deputy director of the State Asset Supervision and Administration Commission, Li Yizhong, says state-owned enterprises must absorb the most outstanding talents from around the world to become strong players in the international market.
