To compare economic analysis and prescriptions with Krugman, you need to find someone of comparable stature among economists, perhaps Milton Friedman.


Oh, John. Krugman is a talented economist who has become a Democratic party hack. He couldn't carry Friedman's briefcase. His columns are one diatribe after another against "supply side" economics. He is just another Liberal now, pounding the drums against Bush.

I had hoped with Brooks coming in that Krugman might be invited to spend more time with his Princeton students. But no such luck, apparently.
