France, Germany and Russia miss out. Good riddance. They shouldn't even get their debts due from Saddam's gang repaid. No wonder they didn't want the war. Iraqis owe them nothing but contempt for supporting Saddam the sadist.

Iraq's debt to Germany is $4.3 bn. Of Iraq's total debt of about $387 bn that's just over 1%. Debt to France and Russia (the countries) are about $8 bn each. For comparison: debt to Kuwait is $17 bn and to Saudi Arabia $25 bn. Other major sums: Kuwait 1991 reparation claims $80 bn, pending contracts with Russian firms $52 bn.

Iraqis don't resent Germany. They chose to keep the national soccer team coach Stange. #reply-19188970
