Cry me a bucket of tears. This is the legal, legislated process for recall in this state. The laws dictating the form are antiques. The Dems have had control of the legislature and governorship for 5 consecutive years up till now and many times before. Why didn't they change them if they didn't like them? NOW they want want to change the rules. Speaking of poor sportsmanship. Sounds like Florida all right. "Let's change the rules after the election is held."

If whacking a grossly incompetent guv isn't what recall is for, what is? Davis certainly meets that requirement.

There is nothing in California law saying a guv has to have committed a criminal act to be recalled. In fact, the reasons can be whatever the proponents of recall want. It is up to the voters to decide the outcome.
