Palestinian refugees in Lebanon are treated like dogs by their so-called Arab friends. It is a shame that the Arab nations are preoccupied with Israel. If they weren't they would be killing off each other.

It is really amazing that the UN NEVER criticizes either Syria or Lebanon for their inhuman treatment of the Palestinians.

haaretzdaily.com

From the article: "The Palestinian refugees are not citizens in Lebanon, Syria and other states, but in Lebanon they are not allowed to leave their camps nor work outside them without the appropriate permits. They are, in fact, imprisoned in the camps and their everyday existence is mainly based on the United Nations Works and Relief Agency (UNRWA) services. In some camps their comings and goings are supervised, and their status is inferior and they are scorned.

The leaderships of all the Lebanese communities and the Lebanese government agree that the Palestinian refugees must be taken out of Lebanon, and the sooner the better. Occasionally they warn of the physical danger to the refugees and at least twice, in the Syrian invasion of 1976 and in Sabra and Chatila in 1982, the Palestinians in the camps were victims of slaughter. The refugees' spokespeople, especially in Lebanon, have often accused Arafat andhis men of forgetting them in the Oslo agreement and abandoning them."
