Power outages were orchestrated. California and Brazil are examples. It was done in Brazil to throw privatization of the energy sector in a bad (pun not intended) bad light. It was done in California to sabotage de-regulation.

Come on guys! No one loves de-regulation privatization! It ends the back room deals. It disturbs the price fixing. Or why do you think the Telecom Act of 1996 was torpedoed by the Baby Bells?

Just cash in on it by looking which company will profit from these developments. Mainly large engineering companies. I am OK since Siemens bought Westinghouse -minus nuclear power part.
