Thanks for your posts Richard -- I was particularly interested in your use of Dahl and MACD (13/34/89) as market indicators.

There was a good piece in "The New Yorker" a few weeks ago about the market's direction. It pointed out that the present bull market has upset traditional measures of how long an upward market can last. Bears have continually underestimated the strength of the market, and the ability of companies to generate greater profits each year. The most revered of all the bulls, Abby Cohen, of Goldman Sachs, argues that traditional measures of the market no longer apply, that this is a new kind of market and a new kind of economy, and it requires a new kind of measuring stick.

Thanks for offering some indicators yourself -- as usual, elegant in their simplicity and effectiveness.

The boards are quiet, as you say. I'm not losing money; with Henry's picks and all the new systems we now have, it's getting harder to make mistakes. Maybe everyone's just busy developing and fine-tuning systems. One of these days, this group of technical analysts and newbies is going to be doing so well they'll have to incorporate: TAOTN Inc.
