Article in the 6 August WSJ references Playmates Toys' "Ninja Turtles linked to a new live-action TV show on Fox (network)" as "potential big sellers now shipping" by ocean vessel from Asia. With summer shipments of all manner of holiday merchandise "up 10% to 20% from a year earlier," it appears retailers are expecting a fervid Christmas shopping season.
