Regarding your original post: I know of several families, where 20+ people have gotten their life ruined because just one ancestor was drunk too often. I think that the legality of alcohol and tobacco is a historic mistake that just hasn't been corrected yet.

I've seen too many people getting their life ruined by hashish, and if marijuana is as bad as hashish, I would definitely go for a solid ban on that, too.

Let's hear Carl's opinion on this :-)
