Worried my taxes are going to rise? Not at all. It is going to happen. Inevitable. Which ones and how much for how long is another question. If this is handled right, they'll go up and come back down.

But that assumes Bustamante doesn't win. If he does, forget that "come back down" part.

I think you are far too optimistic about Ahnie. The CA Republican Party is once again doing what it does best- -committing hari kari. You should recognize this; we've seen it often enough. According to the last Field Poll, Bustamante is at 25%; Arnold is at 22%. The next 4 Repub candidates get 20% total. If even one of them would drop out and endorse Arnie, he could win. But with these Prop 13 and Lowe fiascoes, that won't happen now.

So they split the vote and Bustamante wins. I just may vote against the recall. I prefer a termed out, disgraced Davis in '06 to Bustamante in the statehouse able to run again.
