David: I asked a friend who has a condo there what she would recommend a person do when visiting Key West.........this is her reply. Best, M Sunset in Mallory Square is the biggest "tourist" attraction and worth a walk-through at least once--street performers, bars on wheels, applause at sunset. Day trip deep-sea fishing, and/or flyfishing on the flats with a guide. New Butterfly refuge/living museum downtown. Scuba or snorkeling day trips. Boat to the Marquesas or the Dry Tortugas, day trip. The Hemingway House is fabulous and worth putting up with the other tourists:-) Seven Fish Restaurant. 912 (or 962 or 9- something -2) Restaurant at the same address on Duval Street.
