A company like intel or wendys will point out the realistic uncertainty of the future in order not to create speculative fluctuation in the stock price. The purpose is to promote a long term solid investor base with consistanly increasing profits and not rock and roll speculators. Such a company does not intentionally bash the estimate of future earnings, just as they should not pump up investor expectations above conservative reason, The former is as invitive of shareholder litigation as the latter. The fact that the price did not continue to pop up should not be of concern.........stay tuned, it will.
