Scott,

The campaign is starting to bring out some of the whackos
writing hit pieces from the Kerry camp:

<COPY>

Who is Howard Dean?

The scion of a wealthy Republican Wall Street family, who grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in the
Hamptons. Dean's father was a top executive of Dean Witter Reynolds. The Deans lived mostly in East Hampton, where in the mid-'50s the family built a house on Hook Pond, one of the most wealth-infested towns in America. The Deans belonged to the superexclusive Maidstone golf club, which for decades allowed no minority or Jewish members.

Dean is constantly saying in his campaign speeches, "Here's what we did in Vermont." Why then, on leaving office in 2003, did Howard Dean seal his gubernatorial papers for 10 years -- almost twice as long as his two predecessors did, but considerably less than the 20-year-lock he sought? Why did he determine himself, with his lawyers, what was covered by executive privilege? This is the same kind of anti-democratic scam that Dubya has pulled in sealing his gubernatorial records and his father's presidential records.

...the above are pulled from Norman Livergood's article on Dean at
