Since I also received one of those fraudulent Citibank emails, I went ahead and called Citibank this morning. After I managed to get the person's attention after he repeatedly asked me for my account number, I told him about the email. They did know about it. He said to just delete it and not respond to it. A troublesome fraud, I am sure there'll be many more out there. Just another reminder to never put personal information into a website or online form unless you know for sure what you are doing, such as applying for a new account, etc.
