Rob Lowe on Schwarzenegger Campaign BURBANK, Calif. - Actor Rob Lowe (news), who played a White House aid on television, has joined real-life politics by volunteering for Arnold Schwarzenegger (news)'s gubernatorial campaign. Lowe, a longtime Democrat, said he believes the action-star has injected new energy into California politics. Schwarzenegger is, "motivating and energizing people in this state that haven't been interested in politics in many, many years," Lowe said in a taped interview with the syndicated TV entertainment newsmagazine show "Extra", slated to air Monday.
