Yes, the legislature should never have fallen for their snake oil. I guess when the lobbiests spread their millions, those on both sides of the isle will succumb. However, the concept and, may I say, religion of deregulation and 'free markets' has long been a plank of the Republican party, not the Democratic party. Using Coulter's (il)logic, all Republicans are traitorous because of their association with such harmful ideas. Maybe I should write a book... :)
