How so? Via protest? Via opposition of their political opponents? Most 'liberals' do exactly what most 'conservatives' do; engage in political debate, and sometimes protest, to right what they consider to be wrongs. If liberals are relentlessly attacking their country, then conservatives are doing the same.
but we can't call them traitors
Oh, but to the tune of millions of dollars, Queen Ann has found that you can indeed call them traitors. And make a pile of money doing so.

And, by applying the same argument, so are conservatives.
because that would be 'McCarthyism'
This is whether Queen Ann is quite devious. She is not herself practising McCarthism, because she is not naming names. Who are the traitors? Chris Matthews asks. All of them. she replies. McCarthy had very specific alligations against named people. It turned out that he made a bunch of them up to serve his political needs. Queen Ann sees the trap, and avoids it.
