Sounds like his first time buying a car in his 59 years without trade or financing. We know what happened to the trade, the Prelude in an earlier post. The financing, he figured with his credit the best he could get was 15% for a car loan, so he spent Mrs. Patches' inheritance to pay cash. Now we have to wonder if Elvis will be still be riding in front:-)
